Folk Buddies Podcast

Me and Clarrie have been going to listen to folk concerts. There is nothing wrong with that. We have been going back to her kitchen and drinking beer and talking about them. There is nothing wrong with that either. But then we decided to record our conversations and post them to the internet. Which is probably a terrible, terrible mistake....

Well, I listed as far as 33 minutes, and rather enjoyed it. At that stage, the player paused itself spontaneously, and when I pressed the "play" button it jumped back to 0:00, so I gave up.

I think this is worth persisting with, but it would be much more digestible if you could limit yourself to half-hour chunks.

Anyway, it's interesting to hear your voice after all this time.

Thank you. May use that in the adverts. "I rather enjoyed it - Mike."

The "pilot" is longer then the others will be, probably. 60 - 100 minutes seems to be pretty standard for chatty podcasts, though. You could always listen to the first 30 minutes this week, the second 30 minutes next week and the last 30 minutes the week after that, if 90 minutes of Me is more than your frail nerves can stand.

I don't think the sticking is a problem at our end but will check with the tech departmen.

We average at about 45 minutes. Next week's is around 30 minutes and I don't think there's another one that clocks in at over an hour for a good month or so. So stay strong!

I don't think we're what broke the player, but I'll go over everything, tighten the knots and see what turns up.
